SMOKEY MANDATE set a clear pace then held sway. JUDGE DAVIS tracked along the inside, shifted three wide entering the lane, rallied to take aim on his clear stable-mate late but was kept at bay. BABY MAX saved ground off of the pace, shifted four wid ein upper stretch and ran on to edge show at the wire. SEA SINGER (IRE) stalked from the two path, took aim on the clear leader entering the lane, but got outkicked for place in midstretch, yielded then lost show at the wire. DANCE SOME MO trailed two wide, floated five wide in upper stretch and made little impact.
