SCUFFLE pressed the leader from the three path, came under urging to sustain pressure around the turn, bid along with an outer rival entering the lane, yet forged an advantage in the four path in upper stretch then drove clear. HIGHWAY PATROL stalked from the three path, got outmoved by an outer advancer leaving the three furlong pole yet ran on into midstretch and edged place from an outer foe at the sixteenth pole. MIZZOU pursued from midpack four wide, ranged up smoothly around the turn to issue a challenge entering the lane, but leveled off in the five path while failing to keep pace with an inner rival leaving upper stretch and got outkicked for place by a different inner foe in the final furlong. PROBLEM SOLVED settled off of the pace in the three path, pursued in the four path in upper stretch, shifted out to the six path while staying on in the final furlong and moved up willingly. STONE COUNTY broke a beat slow, tracked along the inside, chased turning for home and lacked a bid. TIMS broke slowly, trailed along the inside, moved out ot the four path at the three furlong pole, fanned to the six path into upper stretch and made little impact. ACTIVITY led as the eventual winner applied outer pressure into and around the turn, got headed by an outer pair in upper stretch then faltered between horses.
