THE TOWN saved ground off of the pace, rallied up the rail in upper stretch, progressed quickly to bid outside of the clear leader in the closing stages and got up in time. TODO MEN showed the way along the inside, built a clear advantage while remaining in hand around the far turn, widened his margin entering the lane, held sway through midstretch but got collared by an outer bidder late and was nailed at the wire. RULOOKINFORRAYRAY tracked along the inside, shifted out to the four path in upper stretch, got outkicked by an inner rival while pursuing into the final furlong yet ran on thereafter. GALLIC CHARM stalked along the inside, dueled for place while moving to the two path into the lane, got outkicked for minor places by foes on either side leaving midstretch and yielded. MUIR WOODS pressed two wide, chased turning for home, sparred for place with aninner foe enteirng the lane, then between horses into the final furlong and yielded. KICKING CLEAR settled in the three path, shifted two wide and between horses in midstretch and lacked a bid. KICK A BUCK pursued from midpack three wide, chased four to three wide around the far turn, moved out to the five path in upper stretch, but lugged inwardly while hanging on his left lead and yielded. RAMBLIN pursued from midpack two wide and between horses, chased along the inside into the lane and failed to factor. FROSTED BULL lacked speed near the two path, then the three path around the far turn, shifted to the five path into upper stretch and failed to factor. JACK RABBIT tracked from the three path then faded between horses turning for home. MOUNTAIN WOLF lacked speed in the three path and never got involved. ADMIRAL HALL broke inwardly, trailed along the inside and got outrun.
