TILT A TWIRL broke outwardly and bumped a foe at the start, applied mild pressure outside of the leader before bidding in the three path and along with an outer rival at the three furlong pole, forged an advantage entering the lane, vied with his outer counterpart before coming out and bumping that one at the furlong grounds, battled on and gamely clung to an advantage to the wire. RUGGED LOVE bumped with an inner foe at the start, stalked three wide, bid outside of the top pair and from the four path at the three furlong pole, vied with an inner rival into the lane and through upper stretch, got bumped and forced out by that one in midstretch, recovered to gamely sustain the duel through the final furlong but missed. FLICK broke out subtly, raced off of the pace in the three path, shifted out to the five path in upper stretch then rallied while hanging on his left lead but needed more to reel in the top pair. THE HUND showed the way along the inside, got collared by an outer pair of bidders at the three furlong pole, got headed those rivals entering the lane then faded. REB bumped with an outer foe at the start, pursued from midpack along the inside, chased around the turn, lacked a bid while hanging on his left lead then tired. TEGATRON broke a step slow and was bumped and bothered by an inner foe at the start, trailed early on but was through entering the turn and showed little. THE RIDER OF RUGGED LOVE CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST TILT A TWIRL ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN MIDSTRETCH. FOLLOWING THE OJBECTION, AS WELL AS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REVIEWING THE SAME MATTER, TILT A TWIRL WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED SECOND.
