CAPTAIN MERCURY led in the three to two path into the turn then drew off under a drive. D BIGALOW tracked from the four path then ran on to edge place in the final sixteenth. KREWEZIN bumped with an inner foe at the start, prompted between rivals before tipping to stalk from the three path around the turn, proved no match for the clearing leader while shifting inwardly in midstretch then flopped back to his left lead and yielded place late. JEM'S HERSHEY KISS chased from midpack in the three path, stayed on to reach fourth late then held that position. SINATRA raced forward three to two wide and between horses briefly, but faded with five furlongs to go, raced off of the pace in the two path around the far turn, yet shifted out to the five to six path in upper stretch and stayed on to miss fourth. CASTLE RUN bumped with an outer foe then brushed with an inner rival at the start, vied along the inside before stalking around the turn, chased into the lane then gave way. MAXIMUM HONOR broke slowly then drifted out at the start, lagged behind along the inside, moved out coming to midstretch and improved position. TAPCON broke a step slow and brushed with an outer foe at the start, pursued from midpack along the inside but lacked a bid and faded. ITCHY raced off of the pace in the three path, fanned to the six to seven path in upper stretch and failed to factor. BLACKJACK MAN chased forwardly in the five path, but faded into the turn, weakened and was eased through the final furlong.
