LAGYNOS stalked along the inside, tipped to the three path to bid outside of the leader in upper stretch, forged an advantage while getting floated out to the five path coming to midstretch, drove clear in the final furlong then held sway from an outer pair of pursuers. MERCANTE pressed two wide, chased the clear leader around the far turn, pursued in the four path into the lane, got floated to the seven path whlie sustaining pursuit into the final furlong, ran on to duel for place with an inner rival alate and edged that position. DRESDEN ROW pursued from midpack two wide and between horses, advanced among foes in upper stretch, shifted out to the six path in midstretch, ran on to gain place at the sixteenth pole, sparred with an outer rival for that position late but got outfinished. BRILLIANT BERTI pursued from midpack while hung three wide, three to four wide turning for home before fanning to the six path into the lane, got floated out to the nine path in upper stretch yet ran on willingly. FLYING MOHAWK settled well back in the two path then moved up. SILENT HEART showed the way along teh inside, built a clear advantage around the far turn, but was collared by an outer bidder in upper stretch, got headed while driftng out to the four path in midstretch then weakened between horses. FORT WASHINGTON trailed in the three path then failed to factor. CHASING THE CROWN saved ground off of the pace to no avail. BEACH GOLD stalked from the two to three path into the backstretch, leaned out to the five path entering the lane, drifted wider in upper stretch and weakened.
