MAGNITUDE broke through the starting gate pre-race, was reloaded without further incident, showed the way in the two path while well in hand, felt outer pressure rounding the far turn, shook clear when let out entering upper stretch, flopped back to his left lead at the sixteenth pole and held well. BAEZA broke slowly, trailed in the two path, swung out to the six path in upper stretch, rallied to take aim on the clear leader in the final furlong but was kept at bay while gradually closing in. SOVEREIGNTY tracked from the four path, yielded while failing to sustain position with eleven sixteenths to go, reengaged to progress four wide rounding the far turn, took aim on the clearing leader whlie gaining place entering upper stretch, but flattened out and got outkicked at the furloog grounds. WHITE ABARRIO stalked from the three path, pressed the eventual winner around the far turn, but was turned away while getting outkicked for place by an outer foe into upper stretch then tired. WILLY D'S stalked along the inside, chased around the far turn and faded.
