THIS IS USCAR stalked along the inside, slipped through to bid inside of the leader in upper stretch and drove clear. CHUNK OF GOLD got keyed up and clipped heels with an outer rival while pulling forward into the first turn, led keenly while tucking to the two path around that bend, settled into stride with five furlongs to go, met an outer challenge turning for home, moved out to the two path while repelling that foe entering the lane, but got collared by an inner bidder in the process, failed to keep pace with that one coming to midstretch then held place. GOULD'S GOLD clipped heels with an inner rival and steadied back when put to crowded quarters between horses approaching the first turn, laid off of the pace in the two path, shifted to the four path in upper stretch then rallied between horses to edge show. PUBLISHER stalked from the three path, bid four wide entering the lane but got outkicked by an inner rival shortly after, leveled off and yielded show to an inner bidder late. TENNESSEE LAMB pursued from midpack in the two to three path into the backstretch, fanned to the five path into the lane and failed to menace. GUN PARTY broke a step slow, saved ground at the rear and failed to factor. ADMIRAL DENNIS broke a step slow, pressed from the four to three path into the backstretch, bid two wide rounding the far turn, but was repelled while getting floated three wide and between horses entering the lane then weakened. THE RIDER OF GOULD'S GOLD CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST CHUNK OF GOLD ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE OPENING STAGES, BUT THE OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS
