Footnotes
MISINFORMATION stalked along the inside, bid outside of the top pair entering the lane and drove clear. PERFECT AUDIBLE was sent between horses leaving the chute, vied two wide, led briefly as an outer rival bid entering the lane, but got outkicked by that one in upper stretch and proved second best. FLAT ROCK ROAD tracked four wide, spun five wide into the lane, ran on mildly to claim show nearing the furlong grounds then lasted for that position late. HERBS BOLT bumped with an inner rival entering the backstretch, raced well back in the two to three path, swung out to the eight to nine path entering the lane and rallied belatedly to miss show. FULMINE broke a step slow, bumped with an outer rival passing the three quarter pole, got rank and remained unsettled until the five furlong marker, raced off of the pace in the three path around the turn, shifted six wide into the lane and moved up while hanging on his left lead. MIDNIGHT WHIRL broke slowly, saved ground off of the pace, tipped out to the three path in upper stretch and failed to menace between horses. BROCK'S BOY bumped an inner rival at the start, lacked speed in the four path, trailed in the two path around the turn, moved back to the four path in upper stretch and surpassed tiring rivals. BARSTOOL stalked three wide, faded four wide and between horses entering the lane, gave way then attempted to lug in at the sixteenth pole. SIR HENRY OLIVER bumped with an outer rival leaving the gate, pursued from midpack two wide and between horses then tired. MITOLA set the pace along the inside, vied with an outer rival into and around the turn, got headed by that one and a wider challenger entering the lane and folded.
