POSITANO SUNSET stalked three wide, bid along with an outer rival turning for home, got headed by that one entering the lane, yet battled gamely to duel through the final furlong and fought back to edge an advantage late. MINK'S PALACE laid off of the pace four wide, circled rivals with an outside bid turning for home, forged an advantage entering the lane, sparred with an inner persistent rival through the final furlong but was bested. TAXED saved ground off of the pace, but steadied while blocked behind rivals through upper stretch, slipped inside of foes entering midstretch, tipped out with multiple lengths to find on the embattled top pair in the final furlong and closed in belatedly. LITTLE PRANKSTER pressed two wide, bid among foes turning for home, but got outkicked and was forced to steady from crowded quarters among foes in upper stretch and gave way. GRAY LIGHTNING veered inwardly at the start, set the pace along the inside, but got headed inside of a trio of bidders entering the lane and weakened.
