MIDNIGHT ESCAPADE away in good order, dueled up the chute and onto the main track, continued to alternate up front in the two path backstretch and into the turn, disposed of the other speed exiting the bend, roused when straightened for home, drew off as she pleased to win ridden out without feeling the crop the final furlong. EXTRA BENEFITS bumped lightly with SHE IS A CLASSIC at the break, stalked the dueling leaders off the inside, remained within striking distance into and through the turn, came three wide for the drive, could do nothing with the winner through the lane, clearly second best. BRIDE broke inward but forwardly, maintained position inside the winner exiting the chute, dueled with that one for almost six furlongs before yielding late in the turn. SHE IS A CLASSIC bumped lightly with the runner up at and just after the break, quickly fell back to trail and remained sluggish throughout while appearing to have a loose tongue tie.
