REIGN CHAMPAGNE showed the way uncontested in the three to two path around the first turn, maintained a clear margin in hand around the far turn, then held sway under a drive. SMOKIN HOT WIFE pursued from midpack in the two path before tucking to the inside into the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn, ran on with a mild rail rally through the lane and narrowly prevailed for place at the wire. DARK THIRTY raced off of the pace near the two path, spun for home in the four path while building momentum and rallied to miss place. COUNTRY CLUB tracked along the inside, moved out to the four path entering the backstretch, progressed in the three path to claim place passing the five sixteenths pole, but lugged inwardly while chasing in upper stretch, flattened out in pursuit of the clear leader in the final furlong and yielded place between bidders late. MIDNIGHT SUGAR steadied back from tight quarters between horses soon after the start, raced off of the pace in the four to three path and failed to factor. MANY MO KISSES stalked the leader from the three path, chased that one from the two path around teh far turn, yielded place turning for home and faded between horses. HOPE RESTORED trailed along the inside, surpassed a weakening rival turning for home and made little impact. Z TRAIN (IRE) stalked along the inside, but weakened into the far turn, was done early and eased through the lane.
