SLIP MAHONEY tracked two wide and between horses, shifted four wide in upper stretch, shifted in while changing leads at the furlong grounds, rallied to reel in the leader at the sixteenth pole and drove clear. SALTWATER COWBOY showed the way along the inside, dictated terms with a clear advantage while well in hand around the turn, held sway through midstretch, but was collared by an outer bidder at the sixteenth pole then remained clear of the rest. THE THUNDERER stalked along the inside, chased in upper stretch, kept on to to sustain pursuit in the final furlong and reclaimed show at the wire. CRITICAL THREAT tracked three wide, edged place while chasing the clear leader into the lane, but got outkicked for that position at the furlong grounds, flopped back to his left lead and yielded show to an inner rival at the wire. WINSTON WOLF stalked two wide, chased between horses through the lane and lacked a bid. SIR SAFFER pursued off of the pace two wide, drifted out to the six path in upper stretch and chased one paced thereafter. TEXAS RED HOT raced at the rear in the three to four path, fanned out to the six path into the lane and failed to factor. ALEJANDRO lacked speed along the inside, moved to the three path into the turn, entered the lane in the five path and made little impact. MASTER GAME raced off of the pace along the inside, but pulled up entering the lane and was transported off of the track via an equine ambulance.
