BRIDGESONG got shut off at the start then steadied at the 7/8 pole before settling early then ranged up and circled the field on the second turn before lugging in and bumping INGLEBOROUGH at the 1/8 pole and then lugging in again and bumping THROTTLE at the 1/16 pole before drawing clear late. THROTTLE steadied at the 7/8 pole then chased the pace and battled into the stretch before being bumped by BRIDGESONG at the 1/16 pole then ran on late for place. HEY DEY broke inward then was shut off nearing the 7/8 pole before altering outward into the first turn then settled and rallied while six wide into the stretch. MONEY MAN rated in the middle of the pack early then made a bid between horses on the turn and made a mild rally late. INGLEBOROUGH rated in the second flight early then made a steady advance while five wide into the stretch before being bumped by BRIDGESONG at the 1/8 pole then faltered late. MACCHIATO got away alertly and crossed over, putting horses in tight into the first turn then set the pace but was pushed along by the loose horse into the second turn then was steadied nearing the 1/8 pole and faded in the stretch. MEANSTEPPER was carried out six wide into the first turn then raced with a five wide trip and was asked into the stretch but made no rally. MAX IS HIM was in tight and steadied at the 7/8 pole then raced with a rail trip but dropped back into the second turn and was no factor. CANDY CONSTITUTION was bumped at the start and rated in the second flight before being steadied again when in tight at the 7/8 pole then dropped back and was pulled up but walked off. PRIVATE SHOW was in tight and clipped heels at the 7/8 pole then lost the rider but was gathered by the outrider and walked off. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS INQUIRY INTO THE RUN INTO THE FIRST TURN MACCHIATO WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED EIGHTH.
