WINNING MATTERS rated in the second flight early then loomed to challenge at the 1/4 pole and took the lead then battled through the long drive with ROCKIN ROBIN and prevailed at the wire. ROCKIN ROBIN rated in the second flight early then made a steady advance while four wide into the stretch and was all out but just missed at the wire. KOPIANA rated in the middle of the pack early then split horses at the 3/8 pole before altering to rally five wide in the stretch and was gaining late. SERAFINA VIETTI settled mid-pack early while racing four wide nearing the 1/2 pole then ducked to the inside in the stretch and made a mild rally late. FOZZER chased the early pace then ranged up to challenge on the turn and was asked between horses in the stretch, making a mild bid late. WADO WAVE broke sharply and opened up on the lead then showed speed for a half mile before fading in the stretch. BROADWAY BETTY got off slowly and showed no speed early then was asked along the inside into the turn but was no factor. QUALITY VIEW moved up along the inside early and contended for a half mile but came up empty in the stretch. ASTRONOVA was void of early speed and tucked in to save ground but was never a threat.
