MEMORY set the pace in the two path as an outer rival prompted into the backstretch, saved ground while sparring with an outer pair around the far turn, inched free in the two path in midstretch then held sway. PAGODE stuttered a step at the start, laid off of the pace in the three path, advanced between horses passing the five furlong pole, prompted outside of the top pair into and around the far turn, got floated to the five path entering upper stretch, sustained his challenge through the final furlong but was kept at bay. PENALTY BOX prompted the leader from the three path, vied between horses around the far turn, shifted out to the four path in upper stretch but yielded in the final furlong. ZAPRUDER raced off of the pace near the two path then stayed on willingly. COALMOON trailed in the two path, swung to the six path into upper stretch and improved position. STELLENBOSCH tracked from the three to five path into the backstretch, gave way in the four path around the far turn then failed to menace. AMOR PATRIAE stalked along the inside, chased in the two path into the far turn, shifted to the four path entering the lane and tired. FEAR OF UNION tracked from the two to four path and between horses into teh backstretch but faded in the three path and among foes rounding the far turn.
