FUSTA tracked from midpack in the four path, rallied to reel in the clear leader reaching the final sixteenth and drew clear. BORAX raced forwardly near the inside, chased in the two path around teh turn, got outkicked by an outer foe in the three path in upper stretch, ran on in the four path in the final furlong and edged place late. NASHVILLE COWBOY sped clear from an inner counterpart with a half mile to go, showed the way in the two path around the turn, got caught by an outer challenger reaching the final sixteenth, weakened and lost place late. BONZO broke a step slow, raced off of the pace in the three to two path into the turn, advanced in the four path and between horses in upper stretch, altered inwardly at the sixteenth pole and ran on. SCOUTING REPORT broke half a step slow, trailed two wide, swung out to the six path in upper stretch and rallied willingly. FUNCTIONAL prompted inside of the leader early on, chased that clear foe into the turn but lacked a re-challenge and yielded. DRUMMER BILL broke a beat slow and brushed with an outer foe at the start, raced off of the pace in the four to five path into the lane and failed to menace. GAINES TRACE brushed with an inner foe while off a step slow, saved ground well back to no avail. GRAND OPRY chased forwardly in the three path, weakened between horses at the five sixteenths pole and faltered.
