TWIRLING CLAIRE showed the way in the two path, drew off in upper stretch and widened under mild urging. ALTA AVENUE hopped at the start and was off a step slow, trailed in the two path, ran on in the four path into the final sixteenth and moved up to reel in place at the wire. SHAMELESS BRIDE pressed the eventual winner for the three path, proved no match for that one in upper stretch then got nailed for place at the wire. STORMY PARADISE raced close up along the inside, got keen in tight rail quarters leaving the nine sixteenths pole, settled into stride into the turn, chased turning for home then faded.
