Footnotes
VAPORETTI settled in the two path, saved ground in pursuit around the far turn, advanced inside of rivals entering the lane, bid outside of the leader and from the three path in upper stretch, took over at the three sixteenths pole then drew clear while moving to the five path coming to midstretch. GREYSTONE settled well back along the inside, shifted to the three path into the far turn, fanned five wide into the lane, rallied to vie for place into the final furlong and edged past. LAHAINALUNA trailed in the two path, spun into the lane in the four path and between horses, rallied in the two path to vie for place with an outer pair into the final furlong but needed more. MY BOY TONY tracked along the inside, then from the three path around the final turn, got outkicked by an inner counterpart entering the lane, ran on to vie for place between horses at the furlong grounds but got outkicked on both sides. LAZLO tugged while forwardly place early on, steadied when pulling behind the rank leader entering the stretch for the first time, settled into stride to set a fast pace along the inside, built a clear advantage down the backstretch, but got caught by an outer bidder at the three sixteenths pole and weakened. DAWN DRAGON pursued from midpack in the three path, chased in the four path around the final bend, drifted wider into the lane and gave way. CARAGOGO pulled clear in the three path early on, got headed by an inner rival while rank nearing the wire for the first time, pressed two wide into the second turn, chased into the final bend then weakened between horses entering the lane.
