Footnotes
POSITANO JOHN stalked from the four path, ranged up to bid outside of the top pair at the five sixteenths pole, asserted command and drew clear in upper stretch then held sway. NOMOLIMBO brushed with an outer rival while between horses leaving the chute, raced off of the pace in the five path, fanned to the seven path entering the lane, rallied to offer a late bid for place and wore that rival down at the wire. BEIJING advanced inside of rivals with eleven sixteenths to go, chased from the two path, progressed three to four wide and between horses nearing the lane, gained place in upper stretch but got collared by an outer bidder late and was nailed at the wire. MOJACAR broke a step slow, raced off of the pace in the three path, progressed in hand while moving to the inside around the turn, paused behind foes nearing the lane, was blocked and steadied behind traffic through upper stretch, found clear room in midstretch, ran on along the inside into the final sixteenth and edged fourth late. STELVIO PASS raced close up in the three to two path, chased around the turn, got outkicked while chasing in the three path and between horses into the lane, kept on through midstretch then yielded late. COWBOYS TIME came in at the start, trailed along the inside, saved ground, steadied to alter out at the three sixteenths pole, pursued in the four path and between horses into the final furlong and stayed on mildly. HAPPY MISCHIEF brushed an inner foe leaving the chute, lacked speed in the two path, shifted to the five path in upper stretch and failed to factor. WE BE MISCHIEF vied for the lead with an outer rival, got headed while inside of a pair of rivals at the five sixteenths pole then weakened through the lane. GOOD COMPANY chased from midpack in the three to four path, then weakened in the five to six path and between horses entering the lane. ALWORTH vied two wide, then between horses at the five sixteenths pole and faltered in upper stretch.
