Footnotes
CLIFFS settled off of the pace in the two path, swung out five wide into upper stretch, rallied to bid outside of the leader at the sixteenth pole, gradually gained level terms nearing the wire and got up in time. EXCLUSIVE STAR bobbled soon after the start and took multiple strides to regroup, tracked three deep, ranged up around the far turn to bid entering teh lane, gained an advantage in upper stretch, shifted in while driving clear at the furlong grounds, but was collared by an outer bidder leaving the sixteenth pole, dug in but got nailed. MODERN SOUND checked subtly while among foes into the first turn, settled well back in the three to two path shortly after, entered the lane in the five path before shifting out to the seven path nearing midstretch, then offered a belated kick while flopping back to his left lead. LES IS BEST stalked in the two path before moving to the inside into the backstretch, awaited racing room behind foes entering the lane, moved out three wide and between horses into the final furlong, ran on to vie for show among foes shortly after but got outkicked passing the sixteenth pole. BEE CAT showed the way along the inside, got headed by an outer pair entering upper stretch and faded. VIRGIN COLADA got keen while off of the pace in the two path into the first turn, remained unsettled around that bend, swung out to the six path into the lane, but lacked a rally between horses. SHEILA'S LION pressed three to two wide into the backstretch, prompted around the far turn, got outkicked by an outer co-bidder in upper stretch, steadied when put to tight quarters by that foe at the furlong grounds and gave way. TICKIN TIME BLONDE saved ground in midpack, awaited racing room behind foes turning for home, shifted out to the three to four path while between horses in upper stretch but failed to factor. ROMANY ROAD trailed along the inside and never got involved. THE RIDER OF SHELA'S LION CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST EXCLUSIVE STAR ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN MIDSTRETCH, BUT THE OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS.
