MESQUITE took back from between horses at the start, but climbed behind foes and altered course outwardly leaving the wire for the first time, trailed in the three path, rallied five wide rounding the far turn, bid in the six path entering the lane, sparred with an inner foe while shifting inwardly in upper stretch, bumped that one at the furlong grounds, edged an advantage and held sway. LIBERTY VALANCE broke a step slow, laid off of the pace along the inside, surpassed an inner pair before moving back to the inside while progressing into the lane, rallied to bid inside of the top pair passing the furlong grounds but was fended off while gaining place. CARSON STREET tracked five wide, pursued within range outside of the top pair around teh far turn, bid in the five path and between horses entering the lane, dueled with an outer MESQUITE while getting floated in by that one in upper stretch, got bumped at the furlong grounds as an inner bidder joined the fray and yielded place late. MISTER LANDRY lacked speed along the inside, moved out around the far turn, swung to the eight path into the lane and ran on willingly to gain fourth. SILVER SHOT broke half a beat slow, laid off of the pace two wide, progressed four wide and between horses around the far turn, shifted out to the seven path into the lane, but flattened out and got outfinished for fourth. RING CURL stalked outside of the leader and from the three path, offered a mild challenge in the two path around the far turn, chased while drifting to the four path into the lane and gave way. MOM'S SPAGHETTI brushed an inner rival leaving the gate, set the pace along the inside, got headed while moving to the two path entering the lane and faded. APOLLO ELEVEN tracked four wide, but weakened two wide and between horses around the far turn. WICKED GUN raced forwardly three to two wide and between horses, but faded along the inside around the far turn. MIMICRY pursued along the inside, faded around the far turn and was eased through the lane. ASTOUND was brushed by an outer foe at the start, pursued from midpack two wide and between horses but was through after a half mile and eased through the lane.
