Footnotes
VIKING set the pace as an outer rival prompted into and around the turn, shook free in upper stretch then drove clear. JACK'S PROMISE pressed the eventual winner from the three path, came under urging to sustain pressure with three furlongs to go, failed to do so and proved no match for the eventual winner in upper stretch then held place. TEJANO TWIST was brushed by an inner rival leaving the gate, settled off of the pace along the inside, swung to the six to seven path into upper stretch and rallied to reel in show. OBLITERATION came out at the start, tracked three wide, then between horses turning for home, shifted inwardly while chasing into the final furlong then flattened out and lost show at the wire. C K WONDER chased forwardly tow wide and between horses, brushed with an inner rival at the five sixteenths pole, then ran on among foes in the final furlong to miss show. DREAMINBLUE pursued from midpack three to four wide and between horses, inched forward around the turn, chased in the four to five path into the final furlong, kept on mildly between rivals and missed show. LIPS SAY BLISS trailed in the two path, spun into the lane in the five path and between horses then moved up. GREENWICH VILLAGE broke a step slow and shied from an inner foe at the start, advanced five wide and outside of rivals around the turn but flattened out in the six path and between horses entering the final furlong and yielded. JIMMY RULES retreated to the rear in the five to three path into the turn, fanned to the six path into the lane and made little impact. ECHO AGAIN pursued from midpack in the three to two path, steadied hard behind foes at the five sixteenths pole then lacked a re-rally. GOLDEN AFTERNOON brushed with an outer foe at the start, stalked along the inside, brushed with an outer rival at the five sixteenths pole then weakened.
