Footnotes
VASA moved up to press the pace from the two path, dueled with rival in the upper stretch before taking sole command the final furlong and kicking clear. DOUBLE ECHO took a slight hold at the start, raced off the pace in the two path, took the inside through the turn to gain a position, angled out three wide at the three sixteenths to rally and improve for the place award. SOCO AND LIME was bumped at the start to be the early trailer, steadily advanced four wide through the turn but flattened out in the stretch, then was found to have bled and was transported off of the track in an equine ambulance. FIFTH AVENUE showed good early speed, came under pressure by VASA in the turn, dueled rival in the upper stretch but gave way in the final furlong and faded. MAMOOT tracked the early pace three wide, dropped back off the pace in the far turn and made no more progress in the stretch. HONEST AL broke outwardly to bump foe at the start, raced off the pace, trailed at the half.
