COUPERIN tracked the early pace four wide, moved up through the far turn to duel with rivals after entering the stretch, took sole command in the final furlong and kept on. PIKE PLACE opted to race in the middle of the pack between rivals, dropped back off the pace down the backstretch, loomed five wide through the far turn to enter the stretch just behind the pace but was kept at bay. AIR OF DEFIANCE stalked the early pace from the two path, moved up to duel with rivals in the stretch but was out-finished. LUDWIG quickly claimed the lead to set a pressured pace along the inside, challenged to duel in the upper stretch but gave way in the final furlong. OUTLIER settled off the pace at the start, steadily advanced along the inside of the backstretch, angled out four wide in the stretch but came up empty. BACKGROUND settled to race off the pace four wide, took to the seven path of the stretch and passed tired rivals. STELLAR VINO trailed after exiting the chute, began to make progress in the far turn, angled towards the outside of the stretch to pass tired rivals. AMERICAN BLAZE raced in the middle of the pack between foes, dropped back to trail at the five sixteenths, passed retreating foes along the inside of the stretch. NABOKOV opted to race in the middle of the pack four wide, retreated in the stretch, failed to menace. ONE COOL DUDE tracked the early pace three wide, retreated after entering the stretch.
