Footnotes
BIG TO DO showed the way along the inside, remained well in hand around the far turn, shook clear in upper stretch was driven home. MISSION IMPROBABLE saved ground off of the pace, sustained a rail charge to bid for place in the final furlong and edged that position late. ASPENITE stalked along the inside, chased the clear leader while moving to the two path in upper stretch, vied for place between bidders into the final sixteenth then missed that position while saving show at the wire. FACTOR ANALYSIS was subtly put to tight quarters between horses at the start, laid off of the pace three wide, shifted four wide into upper stretch, ran on while hanging on his left lead, changed leads and bid for place at the sixteenth pole, battled with an inner pair for that position late but missed show. VILLAIN stalked two wide while applying light pressure outside of the eventual winner around both turns, then faded three wide and between horses in upper stretch. MACKADOO pursued two wide, then between horses around the far turn and tired.
