Footnotes
SILVER TALISMAN pressed from between foes up the backstretch, drew even about the seven-sixteenths, moved clear turning into upper stretch, held sway while kept to task. NO MORE KINGS bumped a rival lightly at the start, settled off the pace near mid-pack removed from the fence, advanced on the turn moving between foes at the quarter pole, gained steadily but slowly in upper stretch, could not reach the winner but was clearly second best. SOUTHEASTERN shifted in settling in behind the leaders up the backstretch near but just off the fence, angled out in upper stretch, finished well but too late and was best of the rest. LENNIE G was bumped at the start, lacked early speed, saved ground on the turn still well back, improved position inside. SIX STRING PRINCE exchanged contact after the start, was up close stalking outside four to five wide, shifted in near the seven-sixteenths tracking the leaders in behind nearer the inside, ran on but needed more. OUT FLAT stumbled and got away very awkwardly at the start nearly losing the rider, lacked early speed, moved outside a foe on the turn, was never near enough to threaten. TELECASTER was coaxed forward inside, made the lead early forcing the pace shadowed closely by the eventual winner, dueled inside that one through the turn, drifted out leaving that bend while weakening, gave way in upper stretch. WINGFOOT bumped with a foe after the start, was up close contending and pressing outside early, continued to chase the leading pair in the three to four path into and on the turn, began weakening on that bend, drifted six wide leaving the turn and continued to drop back. FLAMING EMBERS veered out badly at the start, trailed, made no impact, was pulled up and transported off of the track via equine ambulance.
