ITSINMYBLOOD broke outwardly, was up close heading up the backstretch stalking from outside the pacesetter, moved closer at the half, bid at the three-eighths taking a narrow lead, was headed by an outside foe in upper stretch, dug in despite that rival coming a bit and was resurgent late to prevail. IRON SHARPENS IRON stalked from outside, went three to four wide on the turn, bid in upper stretch taking a narrow advantage passing the three-sixteenths, came in a bit under urging dueling with the inside foe, was turned back by that one. KING PEANUT tracked inside in behind up close to the leaders, moved out in upper stretch, kept on well to overtake an outside rival in the battle for show honors. CHARBONNAY was in a hair tight at the start and forced into a rival lightly, settled racing mid-pack off the inside heading to the turn, moved out six wide turning for home, ran on but was outfinished for third. BIG SALT LICK settled toward the rear a couple paths off the fence, came out seven to eight wide in upper stretch and kicked on well but needed more. BAXTER was lightly bumped at the start, raced off the pace three to four wide, shifted to the rail at the five-sixteenths cutting the corner into upper stretch, ran on. KILLJOY broke sharply and quickly moved clear shifting in to dictate the pace nearer the rail, was challenged early on the turn and overtaken on that bend, fought on till upper stretch then gave way. MOR SUCCESS stumbled at the start, switched out off the inside, was at the back three to four deep into the turn, swung seven wide out of that bend, was never near enough to threaten. HEDGE shifted in, saved ground on the turn inside but dropping well back, was not a factor and not persevered with in the lane.
