Footnotes
HEART HEADED got away well, eased back off the leaders to stalk from mid-pack just removed from the fence racing in the two to three path into and on the turn, tipped out in upper stretch, took command inside the final furlong moving clear about a sixteenth out and holding sway under steady handling. SMOKEY SMOKEY settled off the pace, bided time, was forced outside foes swinging nine wide into upper stretch, was gaining but too late. EAKLY vied between foes, was taken back at the half when in tight, tracked inside, swung out four wide turning for home, took a narrow lead in upper stretch, was outkicked. LET MY PEOPLE GO got away well and was prominent just briefly but soon outsprinted dropping back past mid-pack, shifted in saving ground on the turn, moved out four then five wide in upper- to mid-stretch and finished well between foes. SURF CITY was unhurried outside a rival at the back, swung out ten wide for the drive, was gaining late. INNATELY GOOD was unhurried inside at the rear, saved ground on the turn, came out a little bit in the stretch for room and ran on but needed more to threaten. JAKAJARO (IRE) was coaxed forward from the start, contended inside, pressed into the turn, bid inside at the quarter pole, weakened in mid- to late-stretch. ATTACHE lacked sufficient early speed racing near but just off mid-pack, went two to three wide between foes on the turn, came out for the drive, ran on but was not a threat. FOXTROTANNA chased the leaders, was close three wide on the turn, floated out six wide turning for home, was forced out wider still and weakened. LINZER was urged forward vying outside, took a narrow lead at the half, was challenged late on the turn, gave way in upper stretch. HEDWIG vied briefly between foes, could not keep pace and chased from off the inside three wide on the turn, came out six to seven wide in upper stretch, turned up empty. OUR STARRY NIGHT was off the pace racing outside, went mostly four to six wide and was never near enough to threaten.
