DOUBLE YOUR MONEY tucked in heading to the first turn saving ground on that bend, was about mid-pack into the far turn moving out off the rail early on that bend, came past the quarter pole three deep, sought room in upper stretch splitting rivals then lugging in a bit near the eighth pole once in the lead, kicked clear and held under steady handling. CADET CORPS bobbled at the start, was forced out and in a bit tight, settled inside on or off the rail well back, moved out further into the far turn racing in the four path past the three-eighths, fanned eight wide turning into upper stretch, drifted in a bit in the lane but was gaining late. WELAKA was in a bit tight at the start, shifted to the rail early saving ground through the first turn, was guided out heading up the backstretch, was five wide coming past the three-eighths, moved out further advancing leaving the far turn, altered outside a rival in upper stretch, finished well while being carried in late. DR. STORM came in a bit just after the start, settled toward the rear while guided in three to four deep heading into the first turn, advanced late up the backstretch moving out to gain six to seven wide through the far turn, took a narrow lead outside the three-sixteenths, drifted in through the stretch, was outkicked. POINT DUME moved forward outside just off the leaders into the first turn caught five to six deep, stalked up the backstretch not far off the leaders, was encouraged four to five wide on the far turn, made a mild bid at the top of the stretch, came in a bit in mid-stretch, was in tight in late stretch and eased up nearing the wire. ALTERNATE REALITY was bumped at the start, settled three wide mid-pack, was three to four deep on the far turn, came out seven wide in the stretch, ran on. DANCE SOME MO tucked in two to three wide settling off the pace, bided time near the inside saving some ground, came out five wide in the stretch, kept on. NAVAJO WARRIOR moved forward and shifted in three to four wide into the first turn, took closer order into the far turn two to three deep, was in tight behind runners altering out near the eighth pole, was outkicked. BRILLIANT MAN was in tight just after the start, moved in racing outside a foe at the back into the first turn, continued well back two to three wide, came out nine deep in the stretch and passed tired rivals. AMERICAN LAW tucked in two wide in behind the leaders heading into the first turn then nearer the fence soon after, tracked in behind up close saving ground, checked repeatedly near the three-eighths and was shuffled back badly along the rail, came out in the stretch and ran on. BERNIN HOT was forwardly-placed but forced four to five wide on the first turn, stalked up the backstretch, took closer order commencing a bid three to four deep past the five-sixteenths, took a narrow lead about the quarter pole, was overtaken by the three-sixteenths, forced in soon after and steadied, posed no late threat. HAPPY STRIKE was forced out a bit at the start, pressed the inside leader while floated three to four deep by that one, continued to apply pressure before taking over after a half, edged away and shifted in a bit to the two path still leading on the far turn, was overtaken nearing the quarter pole, weakened in the stretch and steadied when in tight nearing the furlong marker and faded after. OVERSTATEMENT was forced out bumping a rival and checked sharply at the start, settled at the rear inside, swung out for the stretch run but was never a threat. GILDED CRAKEN came out at the start, was strongly urged through the early going making the lead but pressed by outside rivals, was kept well off the rail into and on the first turn in the three path floating those rivals wider still, was headed after a half, shifted in nearer the rail soon after, began dropping back early on the far turn, came up empty.
