ECHO LANE was well rated three wide throughout, moved closer by the quarter pole and made a four wide bid leaving the turn and drove clear leaving the the sixteenth pole to prove best under right handed crop urging. GEWURZTRAMINER moved out after an alert break to the five or six path the first time while setting a pressured pace and then moved in entering the first turn to set the pace along the inside and continued on to the far turn and moved out to the two path by the quarter pole and battled on to the furlong marker and dug in gamely but was out-kicked late and had to settle for second best. KING CURLIN was allowed to settle early and was in between rivals nearing the half mile marker, two wide on the far turn and moved out leaving the turn and had to angle out by the furlong marker for racing room and then finished well late to gain the show award on the outside. NANTASKET BEACH was rated along three wide and started to make a four wide run by the quarter pole and came five wide into the lane and had a mild late kick. GOES THE CLOWN chased the pace along the inside and saved ground throughout and was in contention to the furlong marker but had no late kick. RISK MANAGER was off a beat slow and trailed along the inside, moved off the inside on the far turn and came three wide into the lane and had a belated rally. STROKE OF MIDNIGHT was reserved along the inside and came two wide into the lane but lacked a serious rally. MISTER ABARRIO bumped with a rival at the start, reserved early and was three wide on the far turn, came five wide into the lane but had no rally. AZOI was allowed to settle along the inside and continued to save ground throughout but had no rally. SWISS SLANG was settled back early three wide and made a four to six wide run to the quarter pole but weakened. GROUNDED was bumped at the break, then was floated wide by the stands the first time, moved in entering the first turn and was four to three wide, went on to press the pace while three wide to the quarter pole but weakened in the lane. KALIK was allowed to settle three wide and then made a five wide run by the quarter pole but weakened in the drive.
