Footnotes
CONCRETE GLORY broke sharply and quickly moved clear to set the pace shifting in, was challenged leaving the turn and urged at the top of the stretch, came out under left-handed urging in mid-stretch to meet the challenger, dueled with that one to the wire and held that rival under steady urging. WOUND UP chased the eventual winner, moved closer commencing a bid past the quarter pole, floated out a bit leaving the turn, was engaged by the leader near mid-stretch, dueled but could not get past and was just held off while clearly second best. EMPIRE'S BEST broke outwardly, chased the leading pair from outside three to four wide, proved no match for that duo but held show honors. RAYMOND was lightly bumped at the start, advanced from between foes two to three wide at the three-eighths, kept on inside in the stretch but needed more. SWAGGISH saved ground on the turn, came out six deep in upper stretch, finished solidly but missed the minor awards. SPOTTED BULL bumped a rival lightly at the start, lacked early speed, swung seven wide turning for home, was never near enough to threaten. PANTHOR was outrun in the early going, raced outside foes three to four wide on the turn, failed to menace. ILLINI chased from inside, came up empty.
