DR. SAIKALI showed the way in the tow path, met a pair of outer challenges around the bend, gamely clung to an advantage in upper stretch, repelled his outer counterparts entering the final furlong and drove clear. ARTHUR JR laid off of the pace in the three path and between horses, took closer order approaching and into the turn, drifted out to the five path leaving upper stretch and rallied to gain place late. BARKER stalked outside of the leader and from the three path, ranged up to bid at the three furlong pole, vied between horses as an outer rival joined the fray turning for home, but failed to keep pace with his inner counterpart leaving the furlong grounds, got outkicked and held show. WOODSON tracked outside of the top pair and from the four path, bid turning for home, but was turned away in midstretch, yeilded and was fended off for show. DOC BOVIE lacked speed in the two path, advanced three wide and between foes at the three furlong pole, tipped to the four path into the lane and stayed on mildly. BUDDY MAC trailed along the inside, advanced in the three path and between horses into the lane, then hung on his left lead and failed to menace. GLOBALIST raced off of the pace in the two path, then between horses at the three furlong pole and tired. BACKSIDE raced off of the pace outside of rivals and in the four to five path, but tired turning for home. BON TEMPS chased along the inside and weakened around the turn.
