AERATE broke out and bumped a foe at the start, stalked from the three path, then between horses around the turn, chased among foes in upper stretch, yet ran on to progress into the final sixteenth and edged past the leader in the late stages. MANDY'S MAN CAN set a clear pace in the two path, maintained a margin through midstretch, but was caught by an outer bidder late and held place. CAPITAL CONNECTION broke a step slow and was bumped by an inner foe into an outer rival at the start, raced forwardly, brushed with an outer rival before soundly bumping him to move to the four path at the half mile pole, tracked around the turn, took aim on the clear leader entering upper stretch, but only managed to chase through midstretch, got outkicked by an inner rival at the sixteenth pole and was denied place. SAINT SHANCE broke slowly, got bumped by an inner foe and steadied back at the start, tracked in the three to four path, tipped to the five path into the lane, but only managed to chase thereafter, got bumped to the six path by an inner foe in midstretch and lacked a bid. CARDINAL UNION broke slowly, tracked from midpack along the inside, chased in the two path into the lane, shifted out and bumped a foe while moving to the five path at the furlong grounds, then lacked a bid. MIRACLE ON CENTRAL stalked close up in the two path before moving to the inside into the turn, chased into the lane and gave way. MAJOR LEAGUE chased from midpack, got bumped off stride and forced to the five path at the half mile pole,, pursued further off of the pace in the three path around the turn and stayed on mildly. DU MONDE bumped an outer rival at the start, saved ground off of the pace, shifted out in upper stretch and failed to factor. FOX CREEK bumped with an inner foe at the start, trailed in the two path and made little impact. TEMPUS PRIME was bumped between horses and put to crowded quarters among foes at the start, lacked speed in the four path, got outrun and was eased through the lane.
