Footnotes
THEODORE GEORGE broke slowly and bumped with an inner foe leaving the gate, laid off of the pace in the three path, pursued within striking range outside of the embattled leading trio rounding the far turn, sustained gradual progress to bid outside of those troubled foes into the final sixteenth and drove clear late. CANT STOP MUNNINGS laid close up along the inside, vied inside of a pair of foes around the far turn, dueled and led narrowly into the final furlong, but leaned out and bumped a foe as a wider rival bid at the sixteenth pole, got outkicked and managed place. KICKING CLEAR stalked in the three to four path, prompted outside of the leader down the backstretch, vied three wide around the far turn, dueled while brushing with an inner counterpart in upper stretch and into the final furlong, got outkicked by a wider challenger while jostling with his inner counterpart at the sixteenth pole, came in and bumped that one again while dueling for show late and narrowly prevailed. BESSAMAY led narrowly in the three path, vied two wide and between bidders rounding the far turn, exchanged brushes with his outer counterpart while dueling into the final furlong, but was jostled by an inner rival into his outer counterpart while getting outkicked by a wider challenger at the sixteenth pole, kept on to battle for place while getting bumped again in the final sixteenth and missed show at the wire. FLY GUY MICK tracked along the inside before moving two wide and between horses reaching the backstretch, then faded rounding the far turn. ELKO COUNTY broke slowly and bumped with an inner foe at the start, trailed in the three path and got outrun. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REVIEWING THE STRETCH RUN RESULTED IN NO CHANGE TO THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
