Footnotes
INFILTRATE stalked from the four path, ranged up to press the leader around the turn, bid and sparked a duel entering the lane, took a brush from his inner counterpart while sparring neck-and-neck into the final furlong and edged ahead. EASY WIND showed the way in the tow path, built a clear advantage approaching the five furlong pole, felt pressure from an outer rival around the turn, dueled with that bidder into the lane, gamely battled while brushing that one at the furlong grounds but was grudgingly bested. SWAMP KING moved out to the five path while well back into the turn, progressed turning for home to claim show in upper stretch, drifted out and failed to threaten the top pair. PATROL SQUAD SIX broke outwardly and soundly bumped a foe at the start, raced at the tail of the field while hung in the six path around the turn then improved position in upper stretch. SO SPECIAL laid off of the pace in the two path, progressed in the four path around the turn to bid for show along with an outer rival entering the lane, but got outkicked and tired. TIME FOR MONEY transferred firm contact from an inner rival to an outer foe leaving the gate, pursued from midpack near the inside, lacked a bid and tired. EAST VILLAGE was squarely bumped by an inner foe at the start, pressed the leader from the three path leaving the chute, but failed to sustain pressure and chased with five furlongs to go, but gave way turning for home, faltered between horses entering the lane and was eased through the final furlong.
