HERBS BOLT laid off of the pace along the inside, rushed forward into the turn but steadied when tapping on the brakes behind foes shortly after, shifted to the three path and awaited racing room turning for home, tipped out to the five path entering upper stretch, bid outside of the embattled leading pair and drove past. COAL FIRED stalked four wide, bid turning for home, dueled with an inner rival into the lane, then between horses as an outer bidder joined the fray in upper stretch, hung on his left lead while getting outkicked by that one in midstretch, battled on for place with his inner counterpart through the closing stages and narrowly prevailed. ROYAL SAPPHIRE ran off while without dislodging his rider in the post-parade, brushed an outer rival soon after the start, vied three deep into the turn, led as an outer foe launched a bid turning for home, dueled with that one as his rider lost his crop in upper stretch, sparred gamely while getting headed by a wider challenger in midstretch, sustained the battle for place through the final sixteenth but missed. ORVILLE'S MAP was brushed by an inner foe into an outer rival soon after the start, tracked from the two path, then between horses approaching the turn, chased while tipping out to the four path around the turn, fanned to the six path into upper stretch, lacked a bid and yielded. SEPTEMBER SILVER vied two wide and between horses but gave way entering the lane. SHOW ME THE MUNNY was brushed by an inner foe soon after the start, raced off of the pace in the three path and failed to menace. MIDWAY MUNNY broke slowly, raced at the rear in the four path, shifted out in the final furlong and improved late. HONOR BOUND broke slowly, lacked speed in the two path, moved out to the five path in upper stretch and failed to factor. TALMADGE led narrowly inside of a pair of prompters early on, vied with them into the turn, got headed while inside of a trio of foes turning for home and weakened through the lane.
