ALPINE PRINCESS led along the inside around the first turn, got headed by a outer presser entering the backstretch, backed off to stalk before moving off of the fence at the half mile pole, re-engaged two wide around the far turn, bid and dueled turning for home, sparred with a narrow advantage in upper stretch then edged clear in the late stages. CORNINGSTONE prompted two wide, led passing the three quarter pole, crossed over to the inside before meeting her counterpart's outer re-challenge around the far turn, dueled with that one neck-and-neck through midstretch but was grudgingly bested. RAGING SEA laid off of the pace in the two path, then two wide and between horses around the far turn, tipped out to the five path entering the lane, ran on to bid for show between horses in midstretch and edged that position. REGALED broke outwardly, tracked from midpack in the four path, chased around the far turn, floated out to the six path into the lane, yet stayed on to bid for show in midstretch, vied for that position late but was denied. ROYAL SPA broke a step slow, stalked from the three path and between horses around the first turn, pursued within striking range outside of the top pair around the far turn, but proved no match for them in upper stretch, gave way and yielded show in the final furlong. NEON ICON lacked speed in the three path, got hung in the five path around the far turn, fanned to the seven path into upper stretch and failed to menace. IN JUST MY HEELS trailed along the inside, entered the lane in the three path and made little impact. CHILLED tracked along the inside then weakened turning for home.
