FURTHER ADO tracked in the three path, floated to the four path at the five furlong pole, ranged up to bid outside of the top pair turning for home, sparred with an inner SOLDIER N DIPLOMAT after floating to the five path into upper stretch, battled and wrestled an advantage in the six path entering the final sixteenth then edged clear. UNIVERSE settled well back in the three path, got floated out to the six path while swinging wide into the lane, rallied while shifting inwardly through the final furlong and gained place form an outer rival in the shadow of the wire. SOLDIER N DIPLOMAT pressed outside of the leader into the backstretch, bid while still in hand into the far turn, led narrowly as an outer FURTHER ADO joined the fray nearing the lane, dug in and gamely clung to an advantage while gradually drifting out through midstretch, but got headed at the sixteenth pole, yielded and lost place late. VERY CONNECTED trailed along the inside, saved ground then offered a rail rally. CHEROKEE NATION broke a step slow and got floated inwardly by an outer rival at the start, prompted along the inside before steadying out of tight rail quarters into the first turn, stalked before moving out to the three path at the five furlong pole, pursued the top trio from the two path around the far turn, but drifted out to the five path entering the lane and tired between horses. DR. KAPUR showed the way after tucking to teh inside into the first turn, vied with a pair of outer challengers turning for home, but got headed reaching the lane and weakened. SPICE RUNNER broke a beat slow and got forced inwardly by an outer foe at the start, laid off of the pace in the two path then tired.
