MATINEE IDOL tracked from the four path, ranged up turning for home to bid outside of the top pair entering the lane, assumed command shortly after and drew off under a drive. TROUBLE AHEAD pressed three wide, chased the clear leader from the three path around the turn, bid along with an outer rival entering the lane, but got outkicked by that one in upper stretch then safely lasted for place. BERNIEDOTT laid off of the pace in the three path, entered the lane in the five path, tipped wider in upper stretch and rallied to reach show late. AMALGAMATE broke outwardly and bumped a foe at the start, pursued from midpack in the four path, shifted to the six path into the lane, ran on to reach show in the final furlong but got outkicked late. MUBAREZ chased forwardly in the three path and between horses, moved to the five path into the lane and yielded. HUEVOS D'ORO transferred contact from an inner foe to an outer rival at the start, chased from the two path and lacked a bid. FREE ADVICE vied two wide, cleared leaving the half mile pole, remained in the two path around the turn, met an outer pair of challenges reaching the lane, got headed in upper stretch and faded. THE REINBOW FACTOR broke slowly, lagged behind, moved out to the five path leaving upper stretch and improved position. PONCA was restless in the starting gate, raced off of the pace in teh four path, drifted inwardly and bothered an inner rival in upper stretch and tired. FRANKLIN WILDER vied along the inside, yielded to his outer counterpart passing the half mile pole and faded around the turn. OLD TRACE was bumped by an inner rival at the start, saved ground well back, steadied when an outer rival shifted into his path in upper stretch and never got involved.
