A CAB ON THE ROCKS broke alertly to make the early lead, remained near the inner rail setting a pressured pace, responded when set down in upper stretch, switched to his left lead approaching the sixteenth pole and edged clear under steady handling. REBEL PRINCE , under urging soon after the start, prompted the winner from the outside and was best of the others in a game effort. MORE THAN CUTE stayed in the three path down the backstretch and around the turn, chased the pace, lacked the necessary late effort in an even performance and his rider dropped his crop near the quarter pole. SECONDARY PROMISE , sluggish early, was outrun and steadily dropped back.
