CODE REVIEW broke forwardly despite a slight hop, quickly recovered and cleared, was guided to about the two path while under rating into the turn, was put to coaxing when joined from his outside with about a half mile remaining, clung to the advantage under stout left handed encouragement past the furlong grounds, drifted out slightly in deep stretch, was corrected with a right handed ask and proved resolute to the wire. I DID I DID broke a step slow, rushed up between foes leaving the chute and took a stalking spot three wide outside the winner, went on the attack leaving the far turn, battled on near even terms from the three eighths, was floated out a touch inside the sixteenth pole, kept on gamely and just missed between runners. CLOSE THE GATE saved ground stalking the leaders, was pushed along as a duel developed mid turn, angled out to about the three path soon into the stretch, gave hard chase from there and was steadily getting to the inner top pair. CLASSIC NOFTY drafted well off the early pace, secured the inside leaving the far turn and gathered some momentum, cut the corner under a ride into the stretch, worked outward for the final furlong and churned on to bridge the gap. RECKLESS stalked between rivals early, took closer order three wide near the three eighths, shifted out under asking into the lane, switched over to his left lead inside the furlong grounds and came up empty. AMERICAN TACT , five wide early, faltered around the turn then was eased through the final quarter mile.
