Footnotes
KEEWAYDIN broke outwardly, was prominent early but ceded the lead to press from inside, drew even at the half, moved clear coming into upper stretch while moving out off the inside, was kept to task and held sway. SURGICAL PRECISION was in a bit tight at the start, shifted in soon after, saved ground on the turn, was second best. GRIM REAPER stalked from off the inside in behind the leading pair, came into upper stretch five wide, was no match for the top pair but ran on. SHADOW SURGE broke outwardly, moved to the lead soon after setting the pace from outside, faced inside pressure, dueled on the turn, was asked for more past the five-sixteenths, faltered and faded in the stretch. JOLLY BY GOLLY broke outwardly, was outrun and never a threat.
