Footnotes
SKI BUM set the pace and crossed over to the inside, was well handled throughout and under a good hold, shook clear nearing the quarter pole and drew out to prove best while being ridden out. SMOOTH AN EASY was reserved early and saved ground throughout, came three wide off the turn and then moved back in to finish well to be clearly second best. NO MERLOT was well rated along the inside and came two wide into the lane and angled out to have aim but had no late kick while besting the rest. TRIATHELON broke outwardly at the start and was quickly corrected, then moved up between rivals to prompt the winner two wide and then came under coaxing leaving the five-sixteenths and came four wide into the lane and weakened. JUAN CAMANEY steadied in between rivals early, then moved out to stalk the pace on the outside three wide, swung five wide leaving the turn and weakened. STARSHIP MAGELLAN was settled but close up two wide and moved out and swung out six wide leaving the turn but tired.
