Footnotes
CALDERA stalked the pace three wide and in the clear, made a three to four wide bid in hand leaving the five sixteenth marker and took over leaving the turn to be clear, then widened the margin under mild hand urging and then was wrapped up in the final sixteenth and rider gave horse a few well done pats with his hand while being wrapped up and plenty of speed to spare while setting a new course record. STATESMAN was allowed to settle early and tucked in three to two wide, moved out to make a six wide run on the turn and came widest into the lane and ran on willingly to be clearly second best. FREEDOM PRINCIPLE settled on the outside early, made a four to five wide run on the turn and came five wide into the lane, shifted in nearing the furlong marker and flattened out while besting the rest. UNION FLEET was reserved early, advanced two to three wide on the turn and came four wide into the lane, moved out and had no late kick. LONESOME BOY pressed the early pace two wide and then vied for command two to three wide and was in between rivals by the five-sixteenths and weakened. HOLY SYNCHRONICITY tracked the pace on the inside and tired. WHO'S THE KING set a pressured pace and then vied command along the rail but tired in the lane.
