THE MINKSTER was reserved early and raced two to three wide on the turn, swung out six wide leaving the turn and closed well to get up in time under a drive. LOUIE THE SUN KING was settled early and made steady advance on the outside, made a four wide run on the turn and came five wide off the turn to make a bid and led in the final sixteenth but was denied on the wire. NORMANDY HERO stalked the pace and made a three wide bid leaving the turn to be clear by the furlong marker but faded late while lasting for the show award. DOCTOR JEFF was settled back and trailed early on the inside, swung out five wide and then angled farther out to have a good late rally on the outside. HEDWIG chased the pace and was in between rivals by the three eighths marker and two wide, came three wide off the turn and had a mild late kick. CACTUS tracked the early pace along the inside and then checked repeatedly entering the far turn while eager, then settled midway on the turn and came two wide off the turn and finished willingly among traffic in the lane, brutal trip. XY SPEED was well placed along the inside but lacked the needed bid while being one paced. CELTIC PRIDE bumped a rival at the break and then went up to set the pace and raced in the two path on the turn while clear, then was headed leaving the three sixteenths and weakened in the final furlong. MAKEIT TO CHEYENNE bumped at the break, chased the pace three wide and then steadied by the three furlong marker and weakened.
