INNER TURF FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD (REGISTERED VIRGINIA BRED/VIRGINIA SIRED). No nomination fee. $300 to enter and $300 to start. Supplementary nomination of $1,250 (which includes entry and starting fees) may be made at time of entry. $125,000, w ith 60% to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 11% to third, 6% to fourth and 3% to fifth. Weights: Three year olds 122 lbs.; Older 126 lbs. Non-winners of a sweepstakes since January 1 allowed 2 lbs.; of $40,000 at a mile or over on the turf in 202 6, 4 lbs. (maiden, claiming and starter races not considered). Starters and riders to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. This race will be limited to fourteen (14) starters. In the event more than fourteen entrants pass through the entry box, preference will be given to graded stakes winners (in order I-II-III), then highest turf earnings in 2025-2026. Any horse excluded due to the aforementioned preference will be refunded the entry fee and supplementary nomination fee, if ap plicable. Nominations closed Wednesday, June 10, 2026 with 16 nominations. Trophy to the winning owner. (Rail at 10 feet).

WAR HUMOR showed the way in the two path while clear on the first turn, then drew out and widened the margin on the far turn while still in the two path and then was kept to right handed crop to prove best. VIRGINIA FITZ was allowed to settle along the inside, came three wide into the lane and finished well to gain the place award. GREEN BEANS was well rated along the inside and then moved out to advance two wide by the quarter pole and then moved back to the inside leaving the turn but was one paced and lost the place award late. SENDERO was reserved early and saved ground on the far turn, angled out by the three sixteenths and had a good late kick. RAY OF SUNSHINE stalked the winner three to two wide and then chased that rival and dropped to the rail nearing the quarter pole and tired. OVIATT CLASS was off a step slow and reserved two wide early, two to three wide on the far turn and came four wide into the lane but lacked a late response. OMAHA OMAHA was off slowly and settled back on the inside, then fell back on the far turn and was eased in the lane, walked off.
