Footnotes
CHOWSER pulled way up to the leaders after a furlong to press the pace, split rivals by the five and a half marker and vied for command in between rivals entering the far turn and then dueled for command on the inside leaving the turn and then made a rail bid to go on even terms nearing the furlong marker and drew out to prove much the best while under hand urging late. KELCE was out-sprinted early despite being urged along, roused on the turn while four to six wide, seven wide by the quarter pole and then had a late surge to gain the place award. EASY PICK vied for the early lead, then pressed the pace and made a three wide bid leaving the five sixteenths to gain a short lead leaving the turn but weakened in the final furlong losing the place award on the wire. JOEL'S BOY vied for the early lead and then set a pressured pace on the inside, then relented the lead nearing the half mile marker and pressed the pace by the half mile marker, tracked the leaders leaving the turn and angled out leaving the quarter pole and fought on willingly but missed the show award. DIAMOND KNIFE tracked the early pace on the outside and was four to three wide on the turn, came five wide off the turn but weakened. REGENCY TALE was eager early behind rivals and then moved to the inside to save ground on the turn but tired in the lane.
