BETTER BET vied for the early lead and then shuffled back on the backside and then stalked the leaders in between rivals on the third turn and then made a three wide bid by the quarter pole to gain command leaving the three sixteenths and then drifted out in the lane under left handed crop but remained clear to prove best. FLASH FROZEN was reserved and content to trail on the first circuit, made a inside move on the far turn to be in contention, ran on down on the inside but needed more while being clearly second best. ONRUSH was allowed to settle for the first circuit, raced on the outside down the backside the second time and made a two to three wide move on the far turn but flattened out in the lane while besting the rest. NAVID (GB) was rated along early, three wide and up on the pace down the backside the second time but jumped poorly over the seventh and fell back then passed the tiring rivals late. CRYSTAL HILL was rank in mid pack on the first turn, then pulled over the second and third jumps all the way up to the front to vie for command, continued on vying for command onto the second circuit, dueled two wide on the far turn but tired in the lane. CAMEO PERFORMANCE tracked the pace from the inside and continued on to the far turn but tired in the drive. MASSIF was close up early and then vied for command along the inside and dueled for the lead on the far turn before leaving the course in apparent distress, was vetted by the track vet and loaded on to the equine ambulance for further evaluation.
