Footnotes
SPOTTY SHOWERS was well rated along the rail throughout, waited for room by the quarter pole and slipped thru by the three-sixteenths to go on even terms by the furlong marker and then gained a short lead by the sixteenth marker and then held on gamely to prove best under a drive. BONITA BREEZE was reserved early on the inside and moved out and came five wide into the lane and closed well but missed and had to settle for being second best. CASTAGNA set the pace on the inside and dawdled along the opening quarter of a mile, then was pressured on the far turn and came two wide off the turn and vied for command by the furlong marker and faded in the final sixteenth while saving the show award. STAY IN TUNE was rated along two wide and came four wide into the lane but had no kick. MORE THAN GLORY prompted the pace and made a two wide bid to go on even terms for command by the quarter pole but faded in the final furlong.
